Come With Me

The newest chapter of my life is blooming in beautiful and unexpected ways.
I’ve made so many new friends, and I’m gently opening myself to new beginnings—
and they’re blossoming.
It’s an invigorating place to be.
Especially at 47, with an empty nest on the horizon.
So many possibilities.
So many adventures ahead.
So many people to meet, and so much love still to give.
Just a couple days ago, a new friend texted me out of the blue:
“Come to Kenya with me!”
I can get you there for free—first class, internationally.
If only my schedule were more open,
and the invitation weren’t over Christmas.
But honestly? That’s okay.
Because I know the universe has a sense of humor.
If Kenya didn’t work this time, fine—
I’ll just say yes to the next invitation from a new friend,
The next country that calls to me
.
And something tells me I won’t have to wait long.
