As Connection Grows

There’s a feeling that arrives when certain connections begin to grow and deepen.
I’ve been trying to find the right word for it,
but none of them quite fit.
Excited.
Nervous.
Smitten.
I even thought twitterpated.
But none of those are big enough.
What I’m feeling is more than that.
Deeper.
More meaningful.
More fulfilling.
Real.
So I’m choosing to recognize it for what it is.
To name it without rushing it.
To thank God and the Universe.
To stay present in the moment—
and confident in what comes next.
