An Unexpected Phone Call

I got a phone call today that I didn’t expect—one that felt like a gift from God in the same breath as a flicker of disbelief.


I’m not going to share too many details yet. I’m a little superstitious about these things, and I don’t want to jinx it.


But what I can say is this: if it comes through, it will be a tremendous relief.


Not something that opens new doors, but something that lightens the weight I’ve been carrying.


Fingers crossed it all comes together. I should know more in a week or two.
